PM will offer Anjali to Maa Durga this Ashtami in Kolkata, receives multiple invitations
Frequent highway travellers across India will soon have to pay more for the FASTag Annual Pass, as its price is set to increase from ₹3,000 to ₹3,075 starting April 1 for the financial year 2026–27. The revised pricing forms part of the annual update and will apply to users activating the pass after the deadline.
The FASTag Annual Pass is designed for regular commuters on National Highways and Expressways, offering a convenient prepaid toll solution. With a one-time payment, users can make up to 200 trips or use the pass for one year, whichever comes first, without paying toll charges for each journey.
Authorities said users who activate the pass before April 1 can still avail the current price of ₹3,000. Although the increase is only ₹75, early activation allows travellers to lock in the existing rate and secure a full year of coverage at a lower cost.
The pass can be activated and managed through the Rajmarg Yatra app, which serves as the official platform for FASTag annual pass services. Users can simply open the app, navigate to the annual pass section and complete the activation using their linked FASTag account.
